Responsibilities
- Identify business requirements and scenarios for manual and automated testing.
- Design, create, execute, and maintain UI, API, regression, and performance test scripts.
- Build and manage test automation frameworks and apply GenAI utilities and AI-driven insights to testing.
- Investigate technical problems, document test results and defects, and contribute to technical documentation.
- Report test and delivery status to Delivery Leads and Reporting Managers.
- Collaborate with Test Leads and delivery teams to improve automated and functional testing ROI.
- Own MercerTech initiatives and drive Agile continuous-improvement activities.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of IT industry experience.
- Demonstrable experience delivering successful testing programs for enterprise-scale applications or projects.
- Proficiency in UI and API test automation using TypeScript, JavaScript, Selenium, Playwright, WebDriverIO, TestNG, Cypress, RestAssured, or PactumJS.
- Experience applying Generative AI capabilities to improve business-as-usual effectiveness and practical use cases.
- Experience with enterprise delivery programs, Agile POD or squad models, and in-sprint automation.
- Experience with Copilot or equivalent GenAI tooling.
- Experience using Azure DevOps for end-to-end test delivery and repository and CI/CD pipeline management with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with JMeter and LoadRunner for performance testing is a plus.
- Experience working in Scrum teams within a SAFe delivery framework is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapt to change, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
