Responsibilities
- Act as a product expert with a deep understanding of customer scenarios.
- Analyze requirements and product requirements documents and create test cases.
- Perform end-to-end testing of Windows and macOS endpoints, web applications, and APIs.
- Build and own automated test suites for end-to-end test cases.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and report findings to Product Engineering.
- Find bugs, create detailed defect reports, and verify fixes.
- Reproduce customer-reported issues and help product engineers debug them.
- Define testing approaches and own load and stress testing for features.
Requirements
- Require 5–6 years of experience as a Software Quality or Automation Engineer.
- Experience testing and automating Windows and/or macOS endpoints.
- Scripting experience with shell, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with testing tools such as Postman and Playwright and defect-management tools such as Linear and Jira on Linux systems.
- Experience managing and setting up CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and collaborate closely with Product Management and Product Engineering.
- Preferred experience testing OS kernel-mode components, SaaS or web applications, APIs, and performance testing with JMeter or Gatling.
- Preferred educational qualification of BE, BTech, or MCA.
