Base Salary

$173k - $260k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define and govern end-to-end architecture for Workday Financials, Accounting Center, and enterprise integration platforms.
  • Architect and deliver secure, scalable Workday-MuleSoft integrations across Salesforce, RevRec, Vertex, and banking platforms.
  • Lead adoption of Cursor, GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer, automation platforms, and agentic AI use cases for finance engineering.
  • Design and operate cloud-native integration infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP using event-driven, serverless, and microservices approaches.
  • Mentor engineers through architecture and code reviews and collaborate cross-functionally on solutions at scale.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, including Workday Financials, Accounting Center, or comparable Oracle/SAP ERP experience.
  • Experience in complex, integration-heavy environments and demonstrated technical leadership in large-scale architecture and solution design.
  • Expert knowledge of Workday Business Processes, Security, Accounting Center, Prism Analytics, Core Connectors, EIB, Studio, Workday Extend, Orchestrate, BIRT, and Document Transformation.
  • Hands-on mastery of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Studio, ESB, API Management, and CloudHub.
  • Knowledge of SOA, event-driven design, API design principles, REST/SOAP web services, and asynchronous messaging patterns.
  • Practical experience with Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and CodeWhisperer, plus interest in embedding AI into engineering workflows.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and log-analysis skills, including Splunk or similar tools.
  • Preferred: CI/CD, Git, DevOps practices, Agentforce or LLM/agentic AI tooling, SOX compliance, enterprise security, finance/ERP governance, Kafka, Pub/Sub, SQS, or equivalent technologies.
  • A related technical degree.

  • The listed annual base salary range is $172,500-$260,100, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.
