Lead Platform Engineer

Responsibilities
- Partner with product owners to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios.
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across development and platform tools.
- Improve software engineering practices and lead solution craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability.
- Use scripting, container orchestration, configuration management, infrastructure automation, and AWS services to build and support DevOps tools.
- Stay current with technology trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in technology communities, and mentor engineering peers.
- Promote innovation, teamwork, inclusion, self-organization, and diversity across engineering teams.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- At least 6 years of experience using build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory.
- At least 4 years of experience with AWS.
- At least 2 years of team leadership experience.
- Preferred: 5 or more years of AWS experience and 2 or more years of experience with Agile practices.

- Eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
- Annual salary ranges vary by location: $149,800-$171,000 in Plano or Richmond, $164,800-$188,100 in McLean, and $179,700-$205,100 in New York.
