Base Salary
$110k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, test, and deploy production-ready AI agents and agentic workflows integrated with enterprise applications and business processes.
- Implement evaluation, monitoring, guardrail, and safety frameworks for LLM-powered applications.
- Develop and maintain AI-enabled features in the Java/Spring platform and distributed microservices ecosystem.
- Collaborate with AI Scientists and ML Engineers to productionize models and convert experimentation into reliable software.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend pragmatic adoption strategies.
- Integrate feedback from technical specialists, tech operations, and product managers.
- Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, requirements planning, stand-ups, prototyping, and feature delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience as a Machine Learning Engineer designing, building, and optimizing production ML models.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in object-oriented development using Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience developing, testing, and supporting applied machine-learning services in enterprise software ecosystems.
- Experience building software components for AI-enabled applications or distributed systems and integrating AI into existing enterprise applications.
- Experience deploying production-grade LLM applications using technologies such as LangChain, LangGraph, Spring AI, or Model Context Protocol.
- Working knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation, tool calling, prompt engineering, and AI agent principles.
- Experience with observability, CI/CD, automated testing, and production operations for AI applications.
- Preferred qualifications include Databricks, vector search, embedding models, conversational AI, AI-agent evaluation strategies, AI developer tooling, Spring Boot microservices, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, containerized deployments, model serving, inference optimization, caching, and cost optimization.
