Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate scalable services for capacity allocation, placement, and lifecycle management of Azure SQL Database workloads.
- Improve service reliability, performance, and availability through automation, observability, and incident prevention.
- Partner with cross-functional Azure Data teams to deliver resilient solutions for mission-critical workloads.
- Use test automation, telemetry-driven development, and DevOps workflows.
- Improve developer productivity through tooling, frameworks, and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: master’s degree and 3+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
