Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and uncover enterprise customer pain points and business drivers.
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value for executive and technical stakeholders.
- Present Okta’s differentiators, architecture, regulatory compliance, and platform coverage during technical sales cycles.
- Guide customers in discovering unmanaged AI agents, evaluating risk, and establishing centralized identity controls.
- Lead technical evaluations, overcome objections, and drive complex enterprise deals to technical closure.
- Advise customers on identity security, modern identity standards, and Zero Trust Architecture.
- Partner closely with Enterprise Account Executives and stakeholders including CISOs, identity engineers, enterprise architects, PAM administrators, and application owners.
Requirements
- Recent proven experience in a customer-facing pre-sales role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or Pre-Sales Engineer.
- Strong track record of quota attainment and securing technical wins with large, complex enterprise accounts.
- Excellent executive communication, presentation, storytelling, consultative selling, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical foundation and ability to learn enterprise technologies and architectures quickly.
- Broad knowledge of Identity Security, including Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, Threat Protection, modern authentication protocols, and Zero Trust Architecture.
- Hands-on experience positioning and selling Identity Governance and Administration, Privileged Access Management, and identity security automation is highly desired.
- Experience with or understanding of artificial intelligence tools, AI agents, LLM integrations, and non-human identity security implications is highly desired.
