Base Salary
$209k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and teams developing distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Design and implement large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems with high reliability and performance requirements.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and shape system architecture, platform roadmaps, shared-services strategy, and long-term technology direction.
- Develop cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers and other technical leaders.
- Mentor engineers, support professional development, and contribute to internal and external engineering communities.
- Lead architectural design reviews, influence enterprise-wide technical standards, establish coding standards and design patterns, and drive observability and reliability practices at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience, excluding internship experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 9+ years coding with multiple listed languages, and extensive experience with open-source frameworks, front-end frameworks, APIs, databases, cloud technologies, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, observability, reliability, mentoring, architecture reviews, coding standards, AI coding tools, technology strategy, and large-scale technical initiatives.
