Base Salary
$187k - $322k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end Search and Discovery systems and next-generation AI products.
- Lead key technical developments, remove engineering blockers, and ensure strong execution.
- Design reliable machine learning systems with operational excellence.
- Identify high-impact opportunities using metrics and business needs.
- Collaborate with partner teams and senior Search leadership to align technical direction.
- Recruit and develop world-class technical talent.
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience at technology companies.
- Broad and deep understanding of information retrieval, deep learning, large language modeling, data processing, and real-time serving.
- Demonstrated success delivering large, complex systems with significant business impact.
- Strong system design and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with search and recommendation systems, search relevance, and query understanding is preferred.
- Technical lead or team management experience is preferred.
