Base Salary
$15k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end engineering and machine learning methods for highly ambiguous, large-scale, and complex problems.
- Build, experiment with, optimize, validate, and deploy machine learning models into production.
- Establish scalable, efficient, and automated processes for data analysis, model development, model validation, and model serving.
- Collaborate with Growth Marketing and engineering teams to ship ML technologies and services for user-facing products.
- Present results and explain methods to leadership.
- Mentor junior engineers and help increase ML capabilities across the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a closely related field.
- Eight years of experience working on engineering teams that build large-scale, ML-driven user-facing products.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining highly available, distributed systems.
- Preferred experience with backend and ML systems for large-scale user-facing products.
- Preferred experience collaborating with engineering teams to ship new ML technologies.
- Extensive knowledge of deep learning.
- Experience with advanced ML techniques including transformers, self-supervised pre-training, generative modeling, and LLMs.
- Hands-on experience training and applying models at scale.
- Proficient coding skills in Java, C++, or Python.
- Self-motivation, curiosity, creativity, and initiative.
