Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-quality technology solutions for the Accounting domain.
- Define system architecture, select technologies, and establish scalable, secure, and reliable architectural patterns.
- Write critical code and enforce standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and code reviews.
- Participate in analysis, design, release activities, and delivery of business outcomes.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and support their career growth.
- Translate complex technical concepts for product, design, business, and executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Tribe Leads, Product Owners, and Lead Architects.
- Apply functional knowledge to business capabilities being digitized or re-engineered.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of IT industry experience in full-stack development.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Oracle, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with cloud-native architecture, design patterns, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Experience with message queues including RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, and JMS, plus data streaming technologies such as Kafka and Pub/Sub.
- Experience with public cloud platforms, with GCP preferred and AWS or Azure also relevant.
- Knowledge of distributed and multi-tiered architecture styles, including microservices, data mesh, and integration patterns.
- Knowledge of SRE, change management, incident management, and production operations.
- Experience designing solutions for large-scale operations.
- Experience with TDD, BDD, stress testing, and contract testing.
- Proficiency working with APIs and data formats including JSON, XML, YAML, and Parquet.
- Experience with big data processing using Apache Spark and Hadoop; MongoDB experience is a plus.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible and ethical judgment to data and AI outputs.
