Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance IBM AS/400 (IBM i) applications using RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and DB2.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions for application development, customization, and support.
- Perform coding, testing, debugging, and deployment of AS/400 programs while maintaining quality standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams on enhancements, integrations, and project delivery.
- Support application maintenance, production operations, performance tuning, and system troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with AS/400 development using RPG III/IV, RPGLE, CLLE, DB2/400, and Embedded SQL.
- Understanding of IBM iSeries architecture, database design, file processing, and batch job management.
- Experience with application maintenance, production support, performance tuning, and system troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle, change management, and version control processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and independent and collaborative working abilities.
