Base Salary
$140k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own full-stack product features from data models and backend systems through user interfaces.
- Partner with attorneys and AI engineers to translate legal workflows and review playbooks into production software.
- Make architecture and tooling decisions that support rapid delivery and maintainability.
- Write reliable, maintainable code and own features through production deployment.
- Help shape engineering standards, team culture, and hiring as the team expands.
- Work directly with teammates to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience building and shipping production software, ideally at an early-stage company or as a founder.
- Full-stack development skills including TypeScript, React, a modern backend stack, and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience building with AI or large language models through professional work or personal projects.
- Experience owning features end-to-end and making sound engineering trade-offs under time constraints.
- Strong product instincts, communication, judgment, and ability to work through ambiguity and take ownership.
- Experience with legal technology, contract management, document processing, or working with attorneys or other domain experts is a plus.
Benefits
- Salary range of $140,000 to $180,000 annually.
- On-site in San Francisco, California, six days per week.
