Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize robust embedded software for distributed spectral monitoring systems using modern C++ on Linux.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and training.
- Create functional designs and specifications and write clean, high-quality code.
- Develop scripts for rigorous test automation.
- Review other programmers’ code and provide constructive feedback on quality and alignment with requirements.
Requirements
- Strong modern C++ programming skills in a Linux environment are required.
- Experience developing and optimizing complex software systems is required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, teamwork, and attention-to-detail capabilities are expected.
- A science or engineering degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a similar field is desirable rather than explicitly required.
- Experience with Rust, signal processing, kernel technologies and drivers, Python, Docker, Git, Linux shell scripting, and distributed or networked systems is highly desirable.
