Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable software components using React and Python.
- Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure software code meets design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets and create visualizations and reports to improve software applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
- Develop and maintain production code and algorithms in a large corporate environment.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and promote inclusive, respectful team culture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- At least 4 years of experience with React, including hooks, state management, and component architecture, and Python.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern ReactJS patterns, and UI/UX design principles.
- Practical experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience with React Testing Library, Jest, pytest, unittest, and database querying languages.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle and application resiliency and security practices.
- Preferred experience with Redux, Context API, Next.js, NumPy, Pandas, FastAPI, Django, Flask, cloud technologies, and AI/ML.
