Responsibilities
- Build CI/CD pipelines for deploying, testing, and validating Workday integrations.
- Automate regression testing, integration environment provisioning, and configuration tracking using scripts or infrastructure-as-code.
- Design monitoring dashboards, alerting thresholds, and self-healing scripts for integration health, API latency, and payload delivery.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for systemic integration failures.
- Own Tier 3 production support for Workday Studio, Cloud Connectors, PECI, EIBs, and other business-critical integrations.
- Optimize XSLT, XML, and JSON data transformations for improved processing speed and reduced failure rates.
- Troubleshoot secure network connectivity, custom API endpoints, and OAuth and SAML authentication with vendors and internal IT teams.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience building complex Workday integrations.
- 3+ years of experience managing enterprise integrations, including 1–2 years applying SRE, DevOps, or automation frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Shell, or PowerShell, plus XSLT, XML, and JSON.
- Advanced SQL experience for querying, manipulating, and validating large datasets.
- Experience with Workday Orchestration, Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, Custom Reports, and Calculated Fields.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions and monitoring or log aggregation systems such as Splunk, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Understanding of REST, SOAP, GraphQL, secure payload transport, OAuth, and SAML.
- Strong analytical, communication, incident-management, and problem-solving skills, with familiarity with ITIL and Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Workday Extend experience is considered an asset.
