Responsibilities
- Manage and evolve AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure running on Kubernetes.
- Ensure cluster reliability through capacity planning, autoscaling, incident response, and post-mortems.
- Design scalable and reliable infrastructure for AI-driven analytics and data processing.
- Build and maintain Helm charts, Terraform configurations, and multi-environment setups.
- Own monitoring and alerting using Prometheus/Mimir, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- Administer and optimize PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Redis storage systems.
- Support RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, and Temporal messaging and workflow infrastructure.
- Manage secrets, IAM policies, vulnerability scanning, encryption, network design, and cloud infrastructure controls.
- Configure VPCs, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
- Monitor cloud costs, identify waste, right-size resources, and report on spending efficiency.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and use AI-assisted development tools to ship validated code.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
- Hands-on experience with most of the stated stack, including AWS, Azure or GCP, Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub CI, Terraform, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, Temporal, Prometheus/Mimir, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- Strong Linux fundamentals and Bash and/or Python scripting experience.
- Practical experience using Claude Code or agentic coding, including validating AI-generated code.
- Golang or Python development experience is preferred.
- HashiStack experience with Vault and Packer is preferred.
- ClickHouse administration and experience supporting data-intensive pipelines are preferred.
- Availability during Eastern Time and fluency in English.
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, and comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment.
