Responsibilities
- Manage and evolve AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
- Perform capacity planning, autoscaling, reliability engineering, incident response, and post-mortems.
- Design scalable infrastructure for AI-driven analytics and large-scale data processing.
- Build and maintain Helm charts, Terraform configurations, and multi-environment setups.
- Own monitoring and alerting using Prometheus/Mimir, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- Administer PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Redis storage systems.
- Support RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, and Temporal message-broker and workflow infrastructure.
- Manage secrets, IAM policies, vulnerability scanning, encryption, and other infrastructure-security controls.
- Design and configure VPCs, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
- Monitor cloud spending, identify waste, right-size resources, and report on efficiency.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
- Hands-on experience with most of AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub CI, Terraform, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, Temporal, Prometheus/Mimir, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with Kubernetes cluster design, capacity planning, and reliability at scale.
- Practical use of Claude Code or agentic coding, including validating AI-generated code.
- Strong Linux fundamentals and Bash and/or Python scripting skills.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and rapidly shifting startup priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability in high-volume, high-stakes systems.
- EST time-zone availability and fluency in English.
- Preferred: Golang or Python development experience, Vault, Packer, ClickHouse administration, and experience supporting data-intensive pipelines.
