Base Salary
$160k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, deploy, document, and manage cloud-based network infrastructure.
- Own and maintain critical API infrastructure serving hundreds of requests per second.
- Lead and defend technical decisions with design justification and coordination.
- Manage and assist in the resolution of complicated technical problems and incidents.
- Support and maintain current infrastructure to ensure high service availability.
Requirements
- 6+ years of network engineering experience at a software company, preferably a startup.
- Considerable experience with GCP and Kubernetes.
- Track record of automating infrastructure and deployments using tools like Terraform.
- Proficiency in modern tech stacks, including Go or TypeScript, gRPC, and Protobuf.
- Expert communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams.
