Responsibilities
- Execute development, operation, and maintenance of DevSecOps processes, tools, automation pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code scripts.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams across connected and disconnected environments.
- Author and maintain automation, deployment, monitoring, configuration-management, and documentation scripts and processes.
- Design, integrate, test, and initially deploy applications in virtualized and containerized enterprise environments.
- Manage virtualized and containerized assets, cloud environments, networks, servers, communications, security controls, and development tools.
- Collect, process, and present automation and platform performance metrics and drive improvements to availability and productivity.
- Implement and support automated testing, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and improve system functionality.
- Interact with developers and testers regarding software changes that affect development and testing activities.
- Train others on DevSecOps and automation tasks and maintain corporate knowledge-library content.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or another technical discipline, or relevant technical experience and technical certifications.
- Five years of related professional work experience preferred.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps, DevOps, IT automation, or security automation for multiple teams.
- Knowledge of private and commercial cloud best practices and experience with private or hybrid cloud design, operation, monitoring, and deployment.
- Strong experience with Linux and VMware vCenter and ESXi.
- Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization development, security, deployment, and management.
- Knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, and similar infrastructure-automation tools.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands and communicate system-wide performance information effectively.
- U.S. citizenship and a U.S. government Secret security clearance with Top Secret/SCI eligibility are required.
