Responsibilities

  • Execute development, operation, and maintenance of DevSecOps processes, tools, automation pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code scripts.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams across connected and disconnected environments.
  • Author and maintain automation, deployment, monitoring, configuration-management, and documentation scripts and processes.
  • Design, integrate, test, and initially deploy applications in virtualized and containerized enterprise environments.
  • Manage virtualized and containerized assets, cloud environments, networks, servers, communications, security controls, and development tools.
  • Collect, process, and present automation and platform performance metrics and drive improvements to availability and productivity.
  • Implement and support automated testing, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and improve system functionality.
  • Interact with developers and testers regarding software changes that affect development and testing activities.
  • Train others on DevSecOps and automation tasks and maintain corporate knowledge-library content.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or another technical discipline, or relevant technical experience and technical certifications.
  • Five years of related professional work experience preferred.
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps, DevOps, IT automation, or security automation for multiple teams.
  • Knowledge of private and commercial cloud best practices and experience with private or hybrid cloud design, operation, monitoring, and deployment.
  • Strong experience with Linux and VMware vCenter and ESXi.
  • Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization development, security, deployment, and management.
  • Knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, and similar infrastructure-automation tools.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands and communicate system-wide performance information effectively.
  • U.S. citizenship and a U.S. government Secret security clearance with Top Secret/SCI eligibility are required.
