Base Salary
$189k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the direction and initiatives for the Developer Productivity team and platform.
- Build automated bootstrapping, testing, build, and delivery pipelines.
- Advance self-service engineering technologies and improve local development consistency.
- Build self-healing infrastructure and improve the performance and reliability of existing systems.
- Improve developer experience, release processes, reproducible builds, and microservice creation mechanisms.
- Lead brown-bag sessions and demos, coach engineers, and collaborate on technical designs.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of engineering experience.
- B.S. degree in engineering or a related field.
- Experience building CI/CD infrastructure with multiple pipeline solutions, such as Tekton, Prow, CircleCI, Jenkins, Spinnaker, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience improving SDLC release processes, developer environments, versioning strategies, reproducible builds, and large-scale distributed release management.
- Experience with Golang, Ruby on Rails, Python, or similar languages.
- Working knowledge of AWS services and technologies.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management, including Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Experience with containerized systems and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes.
- Bonus experience with Gerrit, Android OS/AOSP build systems, and embedded systems builds and compiles.
