Base Salary
$209k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement physical infrastructure management software, availability platforms, and frameworks.
- Develop reliable, scalable, secure, and operationally efficient cloud infrastructure systems.
- Create workflows, interfaces, platforms, and automation tooling for cloud deployment, configuration management, and operations.
- Design highly available cloud architectures optimized for performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development and operations teams to integrate and deploy platform capabilities.
- Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to team growth with engineering managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- 10+ years of experience building and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Experience building and running reliable, scalable, efficient, and secure cloud platforms and systems in production.
- Fluency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and secure configuration implementation.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative platform-first mindset and commitment to Crusoe’s company values.
- Bonus: hands-on experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters.
- Bonus: experience in a fast-paced startup environment and interest in sustainable, energy-efficient AI infrastructure.
