Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, infrastructure, and libraries.
  • Perform functional testing across UI, API, and data layers, including manual testing when required.
  • Execute automated tests, analyze results, identify defects, and support debugging and resolution.
  • Write test plans and scenarios and collaborate on test strategies and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in design and coverage reviews to identify testing gaps.
  • Support defect triaging and resolution with cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation practices.
  • Use AI-assisted tools such as Copilot to improve testing efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in software testing or quality engineering.
  • Strong test automation experience, preferably with Python; Java or JavaScript automation experience is also acceptable.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium or similar automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and QA best practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
  • Exposure to Jira and BrowserStack or similar tools.
  • Basic awareness of AI in testing; deep machine learning expertise is not required.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience at product-based companies, API or performance testing exposure, and familiarity with New Relic or LaunchDarkly.
