Responsibilities
- Build robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions for Tether’s digital finance platform.
- Develop innovative projects and platforms using current technologies and agile methods.
- Maintain responsive, real-time backend services as the platform and user base grow.
- Apply strong security standards to backend processes and services to protect user assets and data.
- Interact with MySQL and MongoDB databases and work with message queues, caches, and job queues.
- Contribute to complex platform development and potentially integrate blockchain technologies.
Requirements
- Very strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture for scalable applications.
- Experience actively developing complex platforms.
- Understanding of peer-to-peer technologies.
- Proficiency interacting with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong understanding of and experience implementing security best practices.
- Knowledge of Ruby, Rust, or C++ is advantageous.
- Experience with blockchain integration and high-availability concepts is advantageous.
- Excellent English communication skills.
