Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Java backend services, APIs, and microservices.
- Implement features based on business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and non-production issues.
- Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions.
- Monitor application performance and contribute to system reliability, scalability, and observability.
- Support improvements to architecture, development processes, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Intermediate English skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience developing backend applications using Java.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Clean Code, SOLID principles, and software design patterns.
- Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing practices and frameworks.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of observability concepts including logging, monitoring, and metrics.
- Nice-to-have experience includes Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, MongoDB, Redis, event-driven architectures, Terraform, CloudFormation, New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Python, or other scripting languages.
