Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Build and evolve reliable, performant, and maintainable microservices-based solutions.
- Design new backend modules and components and contribute to key technical decisions.
- Optimize existing systems and improve performance, scalability, and code quality.
- Work with MongoDB, Spring Data MongoDB, and Google Cloud Platform as part of the application ecosystem.
- Write and maintain high-quality, well-tested code using established engineering practices.
- Use AI-assisted and agentic coding tools in the daily software development workflow.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Analysts, UX Designers, and engineers to define and implement technical solutions.
- Occasionally contribute to web or mobile development based on project needs.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in both Kotlin and Java.
- Hands-on experience developing backend applications with Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
- Strong focus on building, testing, and maintaining high-quality backend services and APIs.
- Ability to design new module architectures and identify opportunities to optimize existing systems.
- Experience collaborating with product and business teams to define and refine technical and functional requirements.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and commitment to high engineering standards.
- Ability to use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, or other agentic coding tools in daily development.
- Nice to have intermediate knowledge of MongoDB and Spring Data MongoDB.
- Nice to have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform.
- Frontend or mobile knowledge in Web, iOS, or Android is a plus.
