Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-discipline integrated product teams developing, testing, and integrating complex software and systems solutions.
- Contribute to requirements, design, development, integration, and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, tools, and system enhancements.
- Develop software for aerospace and defense products including battle management, command and control, communications, effectors, advanced sensor systems, and surveillance and warning systems.
- Stay current with modern programming languages, artificial intelligence, DevSecOps, and related technologies and methodologies.
- Contribute to technical problem solving, documentation, estimation, task decomposition, and progress reporting when leading or supporting small teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of relevant professional experience in software development, integration, and/or testing using C++, Java, Ada, or a similar object-oriented programming language.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must be able to obtain an interim U.S. government-issued DoD Secret security clearance before starting.
- Experience or familiarity with embedded systems, real-time systems, large-scale applications, multithreading, memory management, performance optimization, network communication protocols, embedded RTOS platforms, shell scripting, software debuggers, and open systems architectures is preferred.
- Preferred tools and technologies include Azure, Git, Atlassian Suite, Eclipse, Ansible, ClearCase, VxWorks, and Integrity.
- Experience with Agile development practices, continuous integration and development, integrated development tools, generative AI, machine learning, and leading small teams is preferred.
