Base Salary
$153k - $197k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and launch features that improve account security and accessibility across platforms.
- Build authentication, authorization, and adaptive security controls for Roblox users.
- Collaborate with Growth, Discovery, Product, and the broader Roblox Safety organization.
- Influence product direction and the security experience for new and existing users.
- Instrument and analyze user interaction data, A/B tests, and usage metrics to guide design decisions.
- Own implementation end to end across the stack, contributing in Rust, C++, and Lua as needed.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in software engineering or computer science.
- Experience working on user-facing applications or services.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Rust, C#, or JavaScript.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product stakeholders to define requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Commitment to designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that prioritize user safety, data integrity, and compliance with safety policies.
