Responsibilities
- Design and develop firmware for wireless devices and embedded Linux-based systems.
- Develop software for MCU and wireless SoC platforms under RTOS, bare-metal, or embedded Linux environments.
- Integrate IoT devices into existing ecosystems and contribute to proprietary products and Zigbee software.
- Work directly with client teams and participate in meetings and discussions.
- Independently develop, design, document, and implement software product subsystems.
- Understand, maintain, and optimize existing codebases for size and performance.
- Communicate effectively with distributed development teams and clients.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor of Science degree.
- Excellent C and C++ software development skills.
- Experience developing and debugging firmware for MCUs using OS-less, RTOS, or embedded Linux environments, and/or Linux development on hardware platforms.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a development team.
- Ability to understand and support an existing codebase.
- Ability to define, document, and implement a software product subsystem.
- Ability to recognize customer needs and participate in technical discussions.
- Technical English proficiency.
- Preferred experience includes communication protocols, wireless networks, FreeRTOS, Zephyr, Linux application or kernel development, cloud-service integration, scripting languages, technical team management, Unix-like system administration, large codebase maintenance, and distributed-team collaboration.
- Fluent English proficiency is listed as a preferred qualification.
