Responsibilities
- Own product quality as part of the QA team and collaborate across functions.
- Enhance and maintain test automation frameworks for new features and improved efficiency.
- Create test specifications from requirements and develop automated test scripts in Python.
- Execute automated and manual tests for automotive software and embedded systems.
- Analyze test results, failures, logs, system behavior, and quality metrics.
- Develop QA strategies, report quality indicators, and support complex bug analysis and verification.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software development processes and functional and non-functional testing.
- Hands-on software development project experience in agile environments and Python programming skills.
- Experience with Android platforms, Git or comparable code management tools, and Jira or comparable bug tracking tools.
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, Test Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese, along with structured prioritization, ownership, and commitment to results.
- Preferred qualifications include speech application or speech recognition testing experience, Agile/Scrum experience, and familiarity with ASPICE quality process standards.
