Senior Software Developer - Test Framework

Responsibilities
- Own automation features and initiatives based on customer requests, focusing on automotive serial data needs.
- Design and develop enterprise-scalable automation solutions using Python and Robot Framework.
- Represent the team in Test Framework technical discussions and guide development of Python automation libraries.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and provide training and technical guidance.
- Participate in scrum meetings, backlog refinement, iteration planning, retrospectives, and process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7+ years of experience developing software solutions, especially with Python.
- Hands-on test automation development expertise and in-depth knowledge of multiple open-source test automation tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to pass an applicable technical coding assessment.
- Preferred: knowledge of vehicle onboard communication, automotive serial data protocols, vehicle electrical architecture, and vehicle subsystems.
- Preferred: experience developing agentic AI systems and applications.
- Preferred: advanced degree in engineering or management/leadership.
- Preferred: experience using or developing open-source automation frameworks such as Robot Framework.
- Preferred: at least three years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test tools and test framework solutions.
- Preferred: experience working on a software development team practicing Agile/Scrum.
