Base Salary
$160k - $291k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify and design realistic scenarios for collision avoidance testing.
- Develop validation strategies for Automated Emergency Braking functions.
- Identify gaps in testing and design structured test scenarios to address them.
- Support the development of models to quantify collision risk.
- Author test and residual risk reports with strategic recommendations.
- Support the safety case by documenting collision avoidance claims.
- Communicate risks and requirements effectively across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in a relevant field.
- Strong algorithmic problem-solving skills and coding experience in Python or C++.
- Experience designing simulation-based evaluation suites for autonomous vehicles.
- Experience developing collision-type metrics and evaluation tooling.
- Highly collaborative with strong analytical communication skills.
- Self-starter with a passion for learning and problem-solving.
- 5+ years of technical experience, with 3+ years in robotics software.
- Working knowledge of systems engineering concepts.
