$228k - $279k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product and design team to develop innovative user experiences and features.
- Design and implement new APIs with the server engineering team for mobile applications.
- Develop a scalable mobile architecture to support organizational growth.
- Drive decisions on mobile app development strategies and methodologies.
- Create Unit and Automation Tests to ensure code quality and functionality.
- Monitor analytics to assess the effectiveness of features for customers.
- Ensure cross-platform ownership of feature development for a consistent user experience.
- Lead prototype-first and spec-driven development initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of industry experience in building and maintaining Android applications.
- Fluency in Kotlin and understanding of reactive and functional programming paradigms.
- Proven experience with modern Android app architectures and Jetpack components.
- Deep understanding of Android UI frameworks, including XML layouts and Jetpack Compose.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the full SDLC.
- Familiarity with identity verification and authentication protocols.
- Expertise in Android development with a commitment to cross-platform ownership.
- Experience in AI-integrated mobile development and using AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong collaboration skills with Product Managers and Engineering Managers.
