Base Salary
$196k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop test strategies and methodologies for scaling autonomous vehicle testing and covering rare but critical edge cases.
- Design and implement metrics, test plans, and simulated scenarios for off-nominal autonomous vehicle situations across multiple platforms.
- Write reusable software to analyze simulation test results and enable testing automation at scale.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with simulator and onboard autonomous vehicle software teams.
- Review system requirements and feature validation plans using autonomous vehicle, engineering, and test strategy expertise.
Requirements
- An advanced degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, or another relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience involving perception or robotic systems.
- Experience developing software for robotics or performing software verification and validation for robotic, safety-critical, or high-reliability systems.
- Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals and applied statistical concepts.
- Experience with data analysis or modeling, or software engineering using Python and SQL.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience contributing to multidisciplinary projects.
