Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Port GPU-based video analytics models for object detection and classification to CPU-only router hardware.
- Optimize inference pipelines for constrained devices, including a 100MB memory footprint target and CPU-only performance.
- Build containerized architectures with dynamic cloud-driven model loading.
- Tune accuracy and performance tradeoffs on ARM/MIPS router hardware.
- Integrate solutions with Cradlepoint OS and PrplOS environments.
- Benchmark detection accuracy versus latency and iterate on constrained hardware.
- Perform model optimization, cross-compilation, profiling, and memory optimization.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in embedded systems or edge ML deployment.
- Experience with Docker or LXC containerization on constrained devices.
- Experience with ML model optimization techniques and tools including quantization, pruning, ONNX, TensorFlow Lite, and OpenVINO.
- Video analytics or computer vision experience, including YOLO variants and object detection pipelines.
- Python and C/C++ experience on embedded Linux targets.
- Experience with cross-compilation, profiling, and memory optimization.
- Strongly preferred: Cradlepoint NetCloud, PrplOS, or OpenWRT experience; NPU/DSP acceleration on router-class SoCs; DeepStream or similar inference pipelines; SLM deployment; and RTSP/video streaming on embedded Linux.
