Responsibilities
- Define security models, requirements, and guardrails for emerging application architectures.
- Design, implement, and validate security controls for high-risk system behaviors and emerging architectures.
- Shape authentication, authorization, workload isolation, data access, and least-privilege approaches.
- Partner with product, platform, Infrastructure Security, and engineering teams to embed secure-by-default requirements.
- Lead threat modeling and security assessments for products with evolving threats and trust boundaries.
- Prioritize and drive remediation of emerging security risks and improve continuous security testing coverage.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering or development experience in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with security and/or infrastructure/platform engineering, distributed systems, application platforms, or agent-based architectures.
- Experience implementing application infrastructure security controls such as authentication, authorization, API security, zero-trust networking, workload protection, sandboxing, or runtime hardening.
- Understanding of application security vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques, including those relevant to LLM applications and agentic systems.
- Go, Rust, or Python experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with LLM frameworks and protocols such as MCP or A2A is a plus.
- Ability to solve problems independently and collaboratively in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments.
- Experience driving security initiatives with engineering and leadership stakeholders.
