Senior Front-End Developer (React Developer)
TransUnionResponsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, modular front-end architectures using React.js and TypeScript.
- Develop enterprise web applications with Next.js, Remix, and related React frameworks.
- Optimize application performance through Core Web Vitals improvements, lazy loading, bundle-size reduction, and caching strategies.
- Create and maintain reusable UI component libraries and design-system components.
- Implement data flows with Redux Toolkit, NgRx, Zustand, Context API, or similar solutions.
- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and microservice architectures.
- Implement internationalization and right-to-left language support.
- Lead code reviews and enforce coding standards, linting, and static code analysis.
- Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver accessible, responsive user experiences.
- Partner with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release processes.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and support platform stability and reliability.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers through pair programming, code reviews, and technical coaching.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technology evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, accessibility, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting production React.js applications.
- Experience designing scalable front-end architectures for enterprise applications.
- Strong experience building single-page applications and server-rendered applications.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership.
- Expert-level JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and semantic responsive CSS3 skills.
- Professional experience with Next.js or Remix.
- Deep understanding of automated testing with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience configuring build pipelines with Vite, Webpack, Babel, and CI/CD automation platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of Git workflows, branching strategies, and monorepo management using tools such as Turborepo or Nx.
- Experience with styling technologies such as Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or SASS.
