Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, train, tune, test, deploy, and maintain machine-learning models in production.
- Define technical direction for mission-critical ML solutions by selecting appropriate algorithms and technologies.
- Design and deliver scalable ML components, structured and unstructured data pipelines, and production-ready inference services.
- Build or contribute to ML pipelines, APIs, and inference services integrated with cloud or on-premises systems.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, solutions architects, and product owners to integrate ML components into mission systems.
- Guide clients on ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks and help define AI strategy for the intelligence community.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing, training, tuning, and deploying machine-learning models in production environments.
- Experience building Python-based ML workflows using frameworks.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate ML components into mission systems.
- Knowledge of feature engineering, model evaluation, data preprocessing, and large-scale structured or unstructured data ingestion.
- Ability to build or contribute to ML pipelines, APIs, and inference services for cloud or on-premises systems.
- Top Secret clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of technical or program-management experience, a master’s degree and 5+ years of such experience, or 12+ years of such experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with RAG, GenAI, multimodal models, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, RabbitMQ or Kafka, distributed pipeline tooling, MLOps, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform-driven environments, cyber analytics, threat intelligence, malware triage, digital forensics, ETL pipelines, Kubernetes, containerized ML deployment, GPU-accelerated training, or AWS and cloud certifications.
