Responsibilities

  • Build and ship end-to-end features across the React and TypeScript portal and Python services and APIs.
  • Translate logistics workflows into interfaces and systems in collaboration with product, design, and operations.
  • Contribute to platform system design and architectural decisions balancing reliability, security, scalability, and delivery speed.
  • Write clean, well-tested code, participate in code reviews, and improve engineering standards.
  • Debug and resolve production issues across frontend and backend systems using automated tests and observability.
  • Build responsive, high-performance interfaces with careful attention to latency, loading and error states, and edge cases.
  • Mentor engineers and support shared ownership of technical standards.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience building and shipping full-stack web applications in production.
  • Strong React skills and working knowledge of TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and component-driven architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks.
  • Experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, NoSQL stores, and microservices or service-oriented architectures.
  • Solid system design, coding, and testing skills across frontend and backend systems.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and modern deployment practices.
  • Product sense, attention to interface quality, and the ability to collaborate across product, design, operations, and data.
  • Strong communication, high agency, and the ability to drive ambiguous problems to clear outcomes.
  • Mentorship or technical leadership experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Flask, SQLAlchemy, or WebSockets is a bonus.
  • Experience with integration-heavy or real-time systems and prior startup experience are bonuses.
