Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technology solutions for complex Platform Engineering projects, covering development platforms, execution platforms, SDLC, security, performance, automation, and resilience.
- Evaluate, select, and adopt technologies, tools, and products that improve the software development lifecycle.
- Lead software development and architecture teams, coordinating internal and external multidisciplinary contributors.
- Define and implement DevOps and CI/CD strategies based on Everything as Code and GitOps.
- Lead the development of reusable assets to accelerate Internal Developer Platform implementations for clients.
- Oversee code quality, performance, scalability, security, and compliance with internal and client standards.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to drive Platform Engineering adoption.
- Act as the primary technical advisor and client counterpart, validating proposed solutions and managing technical risks.
- Maintain technical documentation and standards, support effort estimation and task planning, and improve internal practices based on project experience.
Requirements
- University degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- More than 10 years of experience developing and implementing complex software solutions for clients, including at least five years as a technical leader.
- Experience designing cloud architectures and coordinating multidisciplinary teams with direct client interaction.
- Proven experience implementing modern software development lifecycle platforms using Internal Developer Platforms, Everything as Code, Infrastructure as Code, Policies as Code, and GitOps approaches.
- Strong expertise designing and developing complex application, integration, and platform solutions.
- Experience with microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, cloud computing, AWS, Azure, GCP, and container platforms.
- Strong experience with modern programming languages including Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and technical project management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary team-management skills.
- Advanced or native Spanish proficiency.
- Advanced English and technology certifications in Backstage, Kubernetes, Terraform, or GitHub are valued.
