Responsibilities
- Architect and personally build critical customer-facing product surfaces across frontend and backend.
- Make technical decisions across frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, and platform systems, writing code at every layer as needed.
- Shape the platform, including CI/CD, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and observability, to improve engineering velocity and safety.
- Turn successful patterns into shared components, reusable services, architectural standards, design-system capabilities, and platform building blocks.
- Mentor senior engineers, lead architecture discussions, and remove friction that slows engineering teams.
- Partner with Product and Design to deliver high-quality user interfaces.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with strong backgrounds in product engineering and platform/SRE work.
- Expert-level experience with React and TypeScript for frontend development.
- Deep experience building distributed backends in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
- Architectural-level hands-on experience with a major cloud provider such as GCP or AWS and Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines built with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- A proven track record designing scalable, resilient, observable, distributed cloud-native systems.
- Practical experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and scalable testing strategies.
- Strong product sensibility and experience collaborating with Product and Design.
- Hands-on builder mindset with the ability to lead architecture and mentor senior engineers.
