Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver products for clients across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop backend infrastructure and services using a broad range of platforms and technologies.
- Participate in design reviews and proof-of-concept efforts.
- Contribute to solution design aligned with the overall technical roadmap and industry best practices.
- Solve algorithmic, optimization, distributed-systems, and large-scale data challenges.
- Work on systems coordinating thousands of servers across global cloud and physical data centers.
- Provide mentoring and technical leadership, and potentially directly manage small teams.
Requirements
- Commercial software development experience with object-oriented programming in C#, Java, or C++.
- Cloud-based platform experience with AWS, Azure, or Aliyun.
- Understanding of web-based, service-oriented applications and integrated back-office systems.
- Experience with distributed source control systems such as Git and Agile Scrum tools such as Jira.
- A sustained track record of significant, self-directed, end-to-end contributions to large and impactful software projects.
- Experience developing web services and always-on systems across multiple technologies and service layers.
- Strong engineering fundamentals, technical leadership, product focus, and ability to evaluate solutions and trade-offs.
- Willingness to mentor teammates, contribute to technical leadership, foster collaboration, and support diversity.
