Responsibilities
- Lead complex, cross-functional projects autonomously from high-level problem statement through completion.
- Communicate technical vision across multiple teams and domains and ensure alignment.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance across engineering teams.
- Understand multiple product domains, identify improvements, and advocate for customer needs.
- Define technical strategies for complex and impactful problems.
- Establish quality standards and drive best practices in architecture, security, and DevOps.
- Write production-ready backend code and participate in software design discussions.
- Contribute to system infrastructure, performance, quality, and security within the assigned scope.
Requirements
- Extensive backend development experience, such as 10+ years, using TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Ruby, Rails, or other languages.
- Strong experience delivering secure, scalable, highly available, and performant systems across multiple domains.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical strategies and solve complex problems through system design.
- Experience leading complex projects that affect multiple teams and domains from ideation to completion.
- Ability to identify opportunities for impactful initiatives and anticipate long-term product needs.
- Deep understanding of multiple product domains.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across different roles and profiles.
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly without needing prior familiarity with the entire technology stack.
