Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD systems for high-frequency, reliable deployments.
- Write Terraform infrastructure as code and manage secure, scalable cloud environments.
- Maintain AWS resources, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Cloud Operations teams to support scalable infrastructure and services.
- Improve observability using OpenTelemetry, New Relic, and Kibana.
- Develop infrastructure scaling strategies, conduct capacity planning and load testing, and improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Ensure systems comply with security best practices and corporate policies.
- Provide technical guidance to more junior team members.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 7 years of DevOps experience with automated build, test, and deployment tools and environments.
- Experience automating application deployments in Amazon Web Services.
- Experience writing infrastructure as code in Terraform.
- Automation and scripting experience with Bash and PowerShell.
- Knowledge or experience with GitHub or similar orchestration tools.
- Knowledge or experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure and container orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
