Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and refactor robust, scalable, high-performance applications.
- Implement trunk-based development, feature flags, progressive delivery, and continuous delivery practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code and contribute to unit testing, TDD, BDD, automation, and code reviews.
- Design scalable distributed systems using microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and apply secure coding practices and security standards.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, DevOps teams, and cross-functional partners on deployments, observability, and production resilience.
- Lead technical discussions, contribute to architecture documentation, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of professional experience.
- Strong hands-on coding experience with Java, Python, or another modern programming language.
- Deep expertise in system design, microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
- Experience with trunk-based development, feature flags, progressive delivery, TDD, BDD, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with code reviews, vulnerability assessments, secure coding, performance tuning, observability, and production monitoring.
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ability to work in agile environments.
