Base Salary
$108k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write, review, maintain, and document production code.
- Interact daily with the npm community, consumers, and contributors.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, design, and develop features aligned with business objectives and user needs.
- Triage and remediate bugs and security vulnerabilities.
- Steward impactful JavaScript open-source projects relied on by millions of developers.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering, computer science, or related technical experience with production software development in languages such as C, C++, C#, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python; alternatively, an associate degree with 3+ years of experience, a bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience, a master's degree, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with cloud services.
- At least 2 years of experience developing and debugging large-scale projects, applications, or developer tools.
- Preferred: 2+ years of Node.js experience.
- Preferred: 3+ years of cloud services experience, including AWS development.
- Preferred: experience building applications adhering to high security standards.
- Preferred: experience using AI-assisted coding and productivity tools.
