Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend services using .NET and C#.
- Build REST APIs, independently deployable microservices, and event-driven solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Contribute to solution architecture, technical design, data modeling, and engineering standards.
- Own services through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, production support, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and delivery professionals to improve automation, testing, observability, security, and software quality.
Requirements
- Strong backend development capability using .NET, C#, and ASP.NET Core, with experience in relevant professional roles; the required number of years is not specified.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting secure REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Cosmos DB, messaging technologies, and relational databases such as SQL Server.
- Ability to deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes and apply continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing practices.
- Practical knowledge of secure engineering and production observability, including logging, metrics, tracing, telemetry, dashboards, and alerts.
- Preferred familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, App Service, Key Vault, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Storage, Terraform, Bicep, Redis, Entity Framework Core, OpenAPI, Swagger, OpenTelemetry, Serilog, Postman, WireMock, SonarQube, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Preferred ability to apply AI-assisted tools responsibly across the software development lifecycle, including validation of AI-generated code.
