Responsibilities
- Write, test, debug, and troubleshoot efficient, scalable, and maintainable software.
- Lead technical discussions, propose solutions, and contribute to team and company OKRs.
- Independently complete medium-sized projects or components from start to finish.
- Identify improvements, drive constructive technical changes, and share engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers through guidance and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to communicate technical concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on software engineering experience focused primarily on backend development.
- Experience with Node.js, microservices, Docker, cloud services, and related technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as AWS CodePipeline or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency with WebSockets, Pub/Sub, TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
- Strong understanding of code architecture, design principles, problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
- Preferred experience with Svelte, SvelteKit, or other server-side rendering frameworks such as React with Next.js, Vue with Nuxt, or Quasar.
- Preferred proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals and Storybook.
