Responsibilities
- Write scalable, maintainable backend code and participate in coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Lead technical discussions, propose solutions, and contribute to team and company objectives.
- Independently complete medium-sized projects or components from start to finish.
- Identify technical and process improvements that increase team performance and efficiency.
- Analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Share knowledge and best practices with the engineering team.
- Mentor junior engineers through guidance and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to communicate technical concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on software engineering experience with a primary focus on backend development.
- Experience with Node.js, Docker, cloud services, and related technologies.
- Experience with deployment automation tools such as AWS Code Pipeline or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency with WebSockets, Pub/Sub, TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
- Strong understanding of code architecture and design principles.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow as a full-stack engineer.
- Preferred experience with Svelte, SvelteKit, or other server-side rendering frameworks such as React with NextJS, Vue with Nuxt, or Quasar.
- Preferred proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals and Storybook.
