Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain deep Epic EHR integrations for real-time data exchange and workflow interoperability.
- Implement and optimize HL7, FHIR, and Epic-specific APIs across client environments.
- Manage Epic Vendor Services, including Epic App Market applications, health system Epic Technical Services collaboration, and developer portal environments.
- Build and manage APIs, Epic Interconnect, and middleware for secure, low-latency data transfer.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and improve system uptime, reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Design and implement ETL pipelines to transform and load Epic-derived data into analytics platforms.
- Document technical specifications, integration workflows, and vendor service mappings.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA teams, and health system IT teams.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in healthcare system integrations with deep Epic platform integration and Epic vendor services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in .NET and C# development.
- Experience designing and deploying integration solutions in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, and ECS.
- Deep understanding of HL7, FHIR, CCD, and CDA interoperability standards.
- Experience with Epic Bridges, Care Everywhere, or Epic on FHIR.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs for enterprise data exchange.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Understanding of ETL pipelines, data transformation, and data modeling.
- Experience with distributed microservices environments, modern data engineering tools, and data pipeline frameworks.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- AWS certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
