Responsibilities
- Develop and manage infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, Helm charts, and Golang.
- Apply Infrastructure-as-Code practices to automate cloud operations and improve deployment speed and reliability.
- Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot OpenStack and Ceph clusters.
- Operate and improve cloud platforms based on OKD, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
- Investigate and integrate open-source tools and technologies to enhance cloud capabilities.
- Resolve infrastructure issues, identify root causes, and keep critical components up to date.
- Collaborate with teams, support developers, contribute to documentation, and provide cloud deployment best practices.
- Contribute to runbooks and participate in the on-call rotation.
- Monitor cloud service health and performance using monitoring and alerting systems.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Linux, networking, OpenStack, and Ceph, including cluster deployment, configuration, and management.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and OKD.
- Familiarity with programming, preferably Golang.
- Experience writing Kubernetes controllers or operators and Prometheus exporters.
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and identify root causes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, support users, and help build new cloud features.
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly.
